THIERRY programmes in Leadership, online distance learning and

Effectiveness,
quality,
and person-centredness are the main strongholds
of the THIERRY leadership development curricula.
The e-coached online distance
education versions of our programmes are offered via THIERRY Online,
our
international online leadership programmes unit. Distance learning programme participants from around the
world
attend our practice-oriented curricula offered mainly in
self-paced home
study and in blended learning
formats.
 THIERRY Online is a genuinely international
educational unit in leadership studies
and practice, as well
as a multidisciplinary
one, both on academic grounds as well
as by the professions of the

Our
educational approach meets the evolving needs of professionally
active individuals who have the determination to combine work and
personal life with study, and to learn more effective leadership by
means of guided self-study. As a member of the online community of
fellow-students each participant benefits from the continuous
(e-)coaching and mentoring support provided by experienced e-leadership
faculty members.
Pioneering
facts, milestones, and recent developments
The
THIERRY internet-based distance learning courses and programs are
offered in an individualised asynchronous mode (self-paced, not cohort-based),
and are grounded in a very effective methodology that includes
personalised e-coaching.
The
distance learning version of our Master of Arts in Leadership curriculum,
called "Hercules",
was launched in 2002. It was the very first online leadership
master's degree curriculum to have been specifically designed and
offered by an institution of higher
education based in the European Union.
At
the same time, the Environmental Leadership online graduate curriculum, called TERRA,
was the very first "green leadership" distance learning
degree curriculum in the entire world.
Two
years later, in
2004, our
postgraduate curriculum leading
to a PhD degree in leadership, became Europe's first distance
education doctoral programme in the comprehensive and core
field or discipline of of study of leadership. Courses are offered in
an online or blended learning mode that combines self-paced
home-study courses, e-coaching,
and short residencies.
Since
September 2010, and therewith further strengthening their value and scope, the THIERRY distance learning programmes are offered
conjointly with INSIL,
the France-based International
Higher Institute for Leadership Institut
Supérieur International de Leadership.
Postgraduate
diploma and Ph.D. in Leadership and Mastery of Change
The
postgraduate doctoral curricula and programmes are offered in
several modes, including hybrid learning. Many
course units, for example in leadership, mastery of change, ethics,
adult education, leadership development , executive coaching, human
dynamics,... are available in an online-based, blended learning, or
face-to-face mode.
