Jean-Pierre Bal

By an ongoing, practice-oriented, and multidisciplinary research now spanning two decades, Prof. Bal has, some ten years ago, bridged a major educational gap that existed between leadership development, distance education, and the environmental and life sciences.  The school's TERRA graduate programme was launched in 2002 (then called 'EnviroLead'). It was the world's very first online-based and blended learning programme in environmental leadership, and leading to a certificate or degree.

Prof. Bal offers a number of courses, of which his 2010s decade President's course on Environmental Crisis Leadership and in Unplanned Events and Outcomes, as well as various forms of guidance and (e-)coaching.

The picture shown was taken during an art-academy type of workshop, illustrating the nature and strength of visible and less perceivable forces that come into play in setting a vision (incl. perception) and in planning change processes.

Prof. Bal can be reached by email at: coordination@thierryschool.be

or by phone, at the France office +33 3 24 52 67 98 or in Belgium +32 8 649 94 94  or Skype
